Darla has been involved in multiple programs at Brazosport College.  She has taught high school equivalency courses consistently for the last six years. She has also been an instructor for Kids College, the Black Rocket Program, STEM Camps.  She is currently working with the Integrated Education and Training Program.  While she enjoys her work as a school counselor, she also thrives in her work with the variety of students involved in the educational programs offered by Brazosport College.

Darla believes she brings a unique skill set to her job due to her various experiences in education both in the United States and abroad.  She is typically able to meet the needs of her students due to these experiences.

Bridging this gap has become her focus of interaction with all in education.
